Never be hesitant to ask about licensing, this not only applies to the owner of the business but the person who does the work also. Here’s how to verify a contractor’s license status yourself.

Ask to see a certificate of insurance. this is something a contractor can usually obtain online while talking to you. Also, you want to make sure they have not only liability but also Workman’s compensation.

Go with your instincts, if you can’t get someone who will show up when they say they will, what happens if there is an issue later

Find a contractor who specialized in the type of work you are looking to have completed. Even though most guys will say they do everything it may not be what they specialize in. Just as it took you years of hard work to get good at your job the same goes for them.

Don’t be pressured into making a decision. don’t fall for scare tactics or claims of lifetime warranties. (All I can suggest is read the fine print)

Jim from guraranteed showed up on time and got my issue resolved quickly. He expalined the problem and what was causing my issue, then gave me options ti fix it.

I had a problem with a circuit breaker tripping in my kitchen, Jim explained the existing circuit was overloaded. He gave me some different options and installed a new outlet and circuit. the price was comparable to other electricians i talked to but Jim was able to do the installation the same day he came to look at the job.

I was looking for a new electrician after my usual guy didn't return my calls. Jim showed up and took care of the new ceiling fan and lights in my daughter's room. His price was around the same as my old electrician. I was happy with the results.
